This collection of 25 pieces, donated over five years in the 1980s, includes excellent pieces from Kuba of Congo, Bamun of Cameroon, Bambara of Mali, Ashanti of Ghana, Ekoi, Yoruba, and Igbo of Nigeria, and Dan of Liberia.

E-3174 Pottery Funerary Head (19th Century Ghana) This object is of orange red pottery in the form of a human head and neck. It is of Ashante/Akan style. The mouth and eyes are made of beads. E-3182	E-3183 Drinking Horn (Bamum people, Cameroon) Carved buffalo horn with brass finial head with flattened conical hat attached to small end coil of fine wire. 23 cm long 39.5 cm high 18 cm wide	E-3183 Many decorations incised around the middle portion of the horn. There are two large and three small lizards and five smaller frogs incised around flaring edge.
