Ujamaa Brownbag Series - Spring 2009

The Ujamaa Brownbag is an informal forum for the Africanist community at KU and Lawrence to meet and discuss general topics related to Africa. The forum was established in the fall of 2001 and has been successful in building a sense of community among our African faculty, students, and Lawrence community members. The forum doesn't have a specific theme, it recogonizes current issues related to Africa, activities on campus, Africanist scholars visiting KU, and recent visits or research done in Africa. It also offers opportunity for Africanist strudents at KU to present their finished or ongoing research.
