Appointment:

Jane Irungu is currently the Associate Director of the Center and was previously the pioneer Program Director for the Global Awareness Program(GAP) in the Office of International Programs, KU.

Research Interests:

International students’ mobility and experiences in higher education, women issues in higher education, and issues related to African immigrants in the United States and the Diaspora.

Languages:

Jane Irungu is a native speaker of KiSwahili and Kikuyu, with strong comprehension of other African languages.
