Charles Adam

Charles Adams Collection, # 242, 1981, Sotho, Southern Africa.

Adams donated this collection of 23 artifacts from Lesotho while serving as KU Assistant Professor of Anthropology.  The flutes illustrate his ethnomusicological research and demonstrate the way cattle herds are motivated to their summer pastures—by flute music.
